Our mission is to be a beacon of hope in Charlotte and beyond — reaching our cities with the Gospel, restoring families, and raising disciples who carry hope into the world.

The Pastor
Pastor Leo "Taino" Roque Jr.
Pastor Leo “Taino” Roque was born in Camden, New Jersey on April 9th, 1978. He graduated from Camden High School in 1996. He then attended Camden County College for Business Management & Graphic Design. In 2005, he gave his life over to Christ & accepted Him as Lord & Savior. He then moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. From 2005-2026 he has taken courses at Blackstone, Pamlico Community College, Craven Community College & UNC taking courses Paralegal, I.T., HRD, Sociology & Psychology. He has taught himself Hebrew, soft German & ASL.

What We Believe
The Holy Bible was given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, it is infallible, and it is Yah’s revealed word to man(II Timothy 3:17).
One True God was chosen to reveal Himself as Father & Son (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mark 12:29). The fall of man and his need for redemption (Genesis1:26-31, 3:1-7).
The Virgin Birth of Christ, that He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Matthew 1:23, John 3:16, I Corinthians 15:3, II Corinthians. 5:21)
Water Baptism by immersion (Matthew 28:19, Colossians 2:12)
Holy Spirit provides the sanctifying power by whose indwelling the Child of Yah is enabled to live a holy life (Romans 8:5, Philippians 2:12,13, I Thessalonians 4:3, I John 2:29)
Baptism of the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it (Joel 2:28, Acts 2:4)
Communion The Lord’s Supper (John 6:48-51, II Corinthians 11:23-26)
Healing Divine healing (Isa 53:4-5)
Return of Christ our Lord and Savior, (Acts 1:11, I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Biblical marriage is the union between one man and one woman as defined by Christ. (Matthew 19:4-6 ESV) (Ephesians 5:25-32) (John 3:29; Revelation 19:7-9).
